On the average, 15 to 20 billfish are raised per trip, with 40+ bites being a common occurrence during peak season between October and June. Guatemala's Pacific coast boasts the highest billfish concentration in the world. Blue marlin yellowfin tuna and Dorado are regularly taken.

The coast here in Guatemala forms a giant bay. Strong currents coming west to east from the Mexican coast turn back after hitting the coast of El Salvador and create an enormous, natural occurring eddy, rich in nutrients and bait where billfish and other pelagic species are found in great numbers.

For those who enjoy the thrill of big game Fly Fishing, our crew knows how to tease and keep a billfish at casting distance! Or try Fly Fishing for dorado, an excellent fighter that will also challenge your patience and skill.
