Located in the upper Texas
Hill Country near Bend, Texas (25 minutes west
of Lampasas), Walking Horse Ranch is a 2500 acre, high-fenced, intensely
game managed ranch offering outstanding hunting adventures for both native
and exotic wildlife. You will not find a more beautiful, picturesque ranch
in the Texas Hill Country. Walking Horse Ranch is committed to ensuring safe
and ethical hunting, conservation and preservation of this incredible piece
of land. There are no “canned” hunts and never will be as all wildlife roams
the entire ranch. All Clients stay in our newly built hunting lodge
providing very comfortable lodging for up to five hunters. The lodge is
fully furnished and offers every modern convenience. All meals and snacks
are included,
highlighted by an Alaskan seafood feast, perfectly grilled steaks and game
harvested from the ranch. Our game processing facility is second to none
ensuring your trophies and meat are cared for properly. Our hunting blinds
are safe, weatherproof, and comfortably seat both the hunter and guide.
Hunters may also choose to bow hunt or spot and
stalk for more challenging opportunities. When not in the field, guests can
enjoy spectacular views while relaxing at the lodge, go fishing for
largemouth and catfish in Cherokee Creek, or tour the extremely beautiful
landscape that makes up this premier Texas Hill Country ranch.
*We have a five month whitetail deer season (Oct - Feb) with no
restrictions. We hunt exotics and hogs year round.
