Brocket Deer is a small deer with an elongated face, stout body, arched back, slender legs and a short tail. Brocket Deer are brown and shades vary within the species. The red brocket has a reddish-brown back and pale belly with a whitish throat and chest.  Brocket Deer  have  a short brown tail with white underside and a small white stripe on its rump. The lower part of the back legs are often very dark.  Brocket Deer have short, straight, unbranched antlers (spikes) that grow upward.  Average  weight  of a Brocket Deer is 26 kg
