Alectoris chukar

Chukar are a pale-colored chunky bird, but boldly patterned. Chukars have a red bill, there legs
contrast with its pale gray upper parts. Chukars have A black line surrounding the bird's whitish throat and cheek, and extends over its eyes. The Chukars sides are cream with bold black stripes. Pale orange under-tail coverts and red outer feathers adorn its short gray tail. Chukar grow to a length of 13 to 15.5". Chukar Males are larger and average a weight of 21 to 26 ounces and females weigh between 16 to 19 ounces.
